libvlc as input

Postby rogerdpack » 27 Nov 2014 15:37

Hello.
I saw this post https://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.ph ... 73#p374573 and wondered a similar question...
Is it possible to use libVLC as kind of a "give me your packets" so that we can use them in other places [in this instance, I was contemplating creating a new libavdevice that was just "packets as given from libVLC" [preferably as fast as possible, though don't have to be]].

Cheers!
