capturing livestream.com news channels

Hello,
i can fine play back the livestream US local news channel like http://koin.com/video/livestream/ in my app, but when i try to save the stream to disc, i always get only the first 15 seconds of the stream.

The used streamurl i get from urlsnooper and it looks like http://livestream-f.akamaihd.net/186461 ... WMGIPBYOXT

the stream is somehow coming in these 15 second parts but there is no m3u8 playlist file or manifest in the log (urlsnooper).
Does sombody know how to record these kind of streams correct?
