Libvlc in Android

How can I download the package and develop VLC based applications? I am not sure libVLC for Android is whether available or not, but I found a sample libvlc project for Android here:

And also, I found a source code for libVLC.java which seems to be the source code of Libvlc Android in Github, but I couldn't compile it. Isn't there a .jar file or something available?
I couldn't find it also in download section of this site.

hello,
you have to compile vlc for android:
https://wiki.videolan.org/AndroidCompile/
then you just have to type: make .sdk
libVLC for android will be exported to directory vlc-sdk/
