cross compile

Postby lovey599 » 29 Dec 2011 04:35

Hi,
I have already read the INSTALL.win32 and extras\contrib\README documents,
but I still did't know how to cross compile vlc-1.1.11 on Ubuntu 11.10,
and how to build the contrib library for windows.
However,I have not found the extras/package/win32/configure-mingw.sh file.
Please help me

Hi, nkoriyama
Thanks! :P
I have read the documents, and it's very easy.
But I would like to directly compile the source code of a version, like vlc-1.1.11,vlc-1.0.8 and etc...
So,I must to build the contrib library, but I can't found the extras/package/win32/configure-mingw.sh file.

extras/package/win32/configure-mingw.sh is not for building contrib libraries, but for building VLC itself with mingw on Windows.
Please read the Wiki page http://wiki.videolan.org/Win32Compile "Prepare 3rd party libraries".
