number of reference frames exceeds max

I'm running a roughly 20 vid, 40 image playlist. I will go through the whole set probably 5-6 times, but I get the following output error after roughly 12-20 hours of run time.

[0x2128c0e0] main input error: ES_OUT_SET_(GROUP_)PCR is called too late (pts_delay increased to 3272 ms)
number of reference frames exceeds max (probably corrupt input), discarding one

The input shouldn't be corrupt considering it plays it just fine the first times through. If I just restart the player it goes fine again for another 12-20 hours

Is there a way to put a catch this error and having it just restart the player? Or does anyone have any suggestions?
