Audio capture and Video capture from webcam using C#

Hello folks,

I am very new to VLC.

I am working on app where I have to capture audio and video from webcam device and save it to flv file. This app should be developed in C# environment.

Someone suggested that VLC can be helpful. I googled and searched various forums but couldn't get any hint. So my question is that can I make this app using VLC? If so then where can I get more help?

Any type of help would be appreciated..
