vlc 1.1.3 compile with VC 2005(2008) and cover.dll source

Hi. Everyone.

This is compile with VLC 1.1.3 with VC2005.
It only for stduay.
I'm not sure it work good. (I only played with one file. 6^^;;;;)

My Blug language is Korean.
You Can click right top "첨부파일(4)" or "첨부파일(6)", "첨부파일(1)".
4 and 6, 1 number color is green

egg format is compress tool that name is ALzip.

You can download ALzip form that.


If you want to run that, install Window 7 SDK and DXSDK_Jun10.exe.

And set like this.

VC2005 tools >> options >> Projects and Solutions >> VC++Directories >> Show Directories for: >> Include files and Library files

sample for Include files
C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v7.0\Include
C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v7.0\Include\gl

sample for Library files
C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v7.0\Lib

And you need comple baseclasses for Windows 7 SDK. (If you compile width window 7 SDK and VC 2005, it has some problem. You are read ReleaseNotes.Htm. And patch your VC2005 with that!)

I made an output plugin for winamp based on ac3filter a few years ago. It has all the processing features of ac3filter (upmix/downmix, matrix mixer, gain, resampling, ...), and it works well.

I did not take the time to look at your work, but do you think it would be possible to compile a plugin with VC2008, without compiling the whole vlc tree, so that i could try to do the same for vlc (the windows version at least) ?

1. Remove the new defines which sunqueen added in modules\access\bda\bdagraph.cpp
2. DO NOT Remove the // infront of the IID_ITaskbarList3 define in file modules\video_output\msw\directx.c
3. Add following code

By the way, i successfully compiled my module without MFC, i tracked down the missing includes (tchar.h, wchar.h and another one, included inside MFC), now i can work, thanks again
