wanted asap pls: Volume increaser as an external application

in general: pls accept my endless Thnx for all VLC Developers, since most of us -from long time ago- got rid of the annoying "real player", non the less "win media player" too.

one of the VLC perfections: when audio volume is able to be increased up to 200%.

I need a help from you to tell me pls about an external application that could "do the same" : increase volume up to 200% or even more! so to use the headphone for voice chat.

the mic can send voice clearly, but hearing others sound is not that clear due to weak signal sometimes.

Hoping that what i'm thinking of -and badly wanted- is clear to you.

i have other hardweare plans to solve this but just wanted to try it softly 1st.
