UTF charset conversion error

Postby astelet » 18 Mar 2009 20:57

Hi, would anyone have some recommendation of how to fix this error?

I'm getting the following error when trying to compile VLC on AIX 5.3:

ERROR : text/unicode.c:76: 3: #error No UTF8 charset conversion implemented on this platform!

Thanks, but now, I'm getting an error in the make of libconv.

I get an error message that libgcc_s is not found.

Is VLC compatible with AIX?

It probably needs a lot of compile fixing first.
