What do I do to stream a file from VLMa?

Postby teochenglim » 01 Oct 2009 05:24

Hi,

I like VLC player and can't live without it.

Currently I am trying the VLMa to do some unicast streaming. I only have one server and the data file is avalable locally at same machine.

I am using Windows XP. I put the file at C:\vlma-0.2.0\media\Sufyan_ROM_001.avi. I added a file channel and program it.

But now what else i need to do at server side?

After do all this. How do I try at VLC play and make sure the streaming is okay?

Thanks.

I downloaded the Unreal streaming. It has a super user friendly interface to quickly put files to be stream. I wish VLMA can do the same.

Cheers.
