apple tv tuner device under linux

Does anyone know of a tv tuner designed to work with apple hardware that would work under PPC linux? Or would I be better off waiting for the PPC side of the development to support tuners under OS X more thoroughly?
I'd really prefer to run the Apple hardware I've already got, so if someone can just point me to a good tuner that works with VLS on the PPC architecture I'd appreciate it.
