VLS input media "multicast"? Possible?

Postby Inzevision » 18 Aug 2010 13:02

Sorry my English
Can I input multicast stream in VLS and output multicast stream to anothe address?
For example:
input udp://@238.0.0.1:1234, then output 238.0.17.1:1234

I can do this with VLC but I have 120 IP-TV channels and some VLC procces make too match memmory.

Use VLC as VLS is unmaintained for more than 5 years.
You can launch only one instance of VLC and manage all streams with VLC using vlm.
have a look here for more informations about vlm: http://wiki.videolan.org/VLM
