I want to run VLS on my win32 box and VLC on another win32 box. The problem is: i dont understand how to set it up. I installed the pre-packed windows installer and read the direction i then knew it wasnt a simple/easy to use/user friendly program. Although it can be useful to me, i cant figure it out.

I'm having problems with:

"src\server\config.h.win -> src\server\config.h"
"src\server\vls_builtins.cpp.win -> src\server\vls_builtins.cpp"
"src\core\defs.h.win -> src\core\defs.h"

What is the readme talking about? these files dont even exsist.

Then:

"You have to link dvbpsi with vls."

I dont understand this, either. is there an easier way i'm missing?

I really want to try this program out, how many people have actually had success with it?

Do you really want to compile a VLS ?

Honestly, if you don't know what "linking a library" means, it's not exactly a brilliant idea.

There are binary versions that are ready for use... what do you want to do, exactly ?

There are? i didnt know that. Honestly i'm not the most intelligent with stuff like this. My real place in web design- excuse my ignorance, please.

I just want the program to work, basically. I dont really even want to compile it or anything.

<<running to the binary versions>>

Thanks
