Discussion on the (deprecated) VideoLAN Server application as well as the miniSAPserver stream announcer. This is not about VLC!

Audio amplification in VLS

Postby aln » 05 Jan 2005 18:06

Hi,

Is it possible to amplify the audio of a DVB-T input before streaming with VLS? I guess it must not be presently supported, as it would require decoding, processing the signal, and encoding again, in my understanding. Anyway, it could happen that some libraries could make the job simpler. I could do it if it doesn't get too complicated. Do any insiders have an idea of what would it take?

Thanks,

Alberto
