How to stream audio/video from "c" code using vlc

Discussion on the (deprecated) VideoLAN Server application as well as the miniSAPserver stream announcer. This is not about VLC!

How to stream audio/video from "c" code using vlc

Hello frnds,

I am trying to stream audio in "c". For that purpose I'm trying to use vlc. The dll file which i think i have to use is axvlc.dll. but the problem is that i am not getting the actual format of how to use that dll for streaming the files. Please help me as I hav searched enough but not getting any way out of it....ny help would be very much appreciated......

use libvlc and use the normal transcode lines that you would use in VLC.
