Installing VLC on Fedora Core 1?

Postby frustrated-User » 13 Aug 2004 00:40

I am having issues installing VLC on fedora Core 1 due to rpm depencies. I assumed the fedora updates provided via the website would be the updates to the specific libraries and packages that would need to be updated to successfully install VLC.

I really do not want to go out and manually download and install the 8 depencies that are being listed in the install error. Any ideas on how to successfully install VLC on Fedora Core 1? I am trying to use this software in an IPv6 testbed.
