I have been looked in the forums a request for my problems but I didn't find nothing.

Don't use VLS. Use VLC media player instead.

... "Don't use VLS. Use VLC media player instead." ....
Assuming that I do have to use VLS for a number of reasons (i.e. concurrently streaming 5 multicast streams) the question is that after installing VLS with Synaptic Package Manager and creating a proper vls.cfg file, the result is:

VideoLAN Server 0.5.4+cvs20031028 (Oct 26 2005) - (c) 1999-2003 VideoLAN
2007-04-01 11:02:07 [ERROR/Vls] No module in file "/usr/lib/vls/dvbinput.so" : Error: Unable to load /usr/lib/vls/dvbinput.so: /usr/lib/vls/dvbinput.so: undefined symbol: _ZNSs20_S_empty_rep_storageE

any idea ?

thank you for your kind attention and support

Hello,
VLS is old and deprecated. Please do not use it instead you know what are you doing. And you don't know!
You can concurrently stream (multicast) with VLC. Please read the documentation.
If you subsequently counclude that you really nead VLS, you have to download the latest released version (0.5.6) or SVN version and you have to compile it. It is recommended to use gcc 3.4.
Regarding your error: you have to have compiled right version of libdvb, which can be used with that VLS from repository.
