i'v downloaded vlc media player, and when i play movies (mpg, avi).
i get only sound...
no picture...
what sould i do?

Does a video output window show up (or does the interface grow up ?)

Could you open the messages window, retry and give us the log ?

Also give OS, and a few details about your configuration (cpu, memory, video card)
