VLS for streaming....VLC for transcoding...

Postby mixian » 07 Jul 2006 01:04

Hi, i use VLS for dvb-sat channel streaming, but the bandwith when 10-15 pc are connected is very low....the vlc player is ok at address udp://@239.192.254.1:5001

I have used VLC for transcoding on the same server (DEBIAN SARGE) with the next string:

vlc -vvv udp:@239.192.254.1:5001 --sout '#transcode{vcode=mp4,acode=mp3,vb=800,ab=128,deinterlaced}:standard{access=udp,mux=ts,dst=192.168.2.2"}'

in the client 192.168.2.2 is not possible to see the channel codified.

Help me ?
