error:"cvs - command not found"

Discussion on the (deprecated) VideoLAN Server application as well as the miniSAPserver stream announcer. This is not about VLC!

error:"cvs - command not found"

I installed vls-0.5.6 for v4l, however when I go to install the CVS through the command
cvs - d :pserver:anonymous@anoncvs.videolan.org:/var/cvs/videolan login
occurs following error:"cvs - command not found"
( my linux is Debian).

You might need to install cvs before using it...
