erro: "Input type v4l invalid"

Discussion on the (deprecated) VideoLAN Server application as well as the miniSAPserver stream announcer. This is not about VLC!

erro: "Input type v4l invalid"

I am installing VLS for v4l, already I used version CVS for VLS, (configured with ./bootstrap and ./configure --enable-v4l) but continues giving to the error "Input type v4l invalid". To use v4l it needs to make something more?
