vls for linux supports all kinds of video?

IT WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF the VLS FOR LINUX SUPPORTS (MAKES COMMUNICATION ) ALL The KINDS OF VIDEO DEVICE OR HAS RESTRICTIONS.
