What are the best streaming radio services to use with VLC?

Hey guys,
I'm totally new to using VLC and tried to find some definitive answers but couldn't. I know this player is off the charts with the features and capabilities but I'm looking for just some simple solutions, haha. Is there any streaming services for music that work better than others? And if any pointers can be passed about streaming facts such as the easiest and best set up, or other info I would greatly appreciate it, thanks!!
