Can used other client with VLS or only VLC?

Discussion on the (deprecated) VideoLAN Server application as well as the miniSAPserver stream announcer. This is not about VLC!

I have that to have vlc installed in customer schemes or vls if communicates with another customer (type measured to player or a navigator even though?
