what is the wrong with my installation?/

Discussion on the (deprecated) VideoLAN Server application as well as the miniSAPserver stream announcer. This is not about VLC!

Are you using gcc4 by any chance?
Run "gcc --version" to be sure of that.
Don't use PMs for support questions.

I've got the same build issue with gcc 3.4.3. (arm cpu)
Try the following patch :
