Hey guys! Newbie here would like to get your advice on a project that i'm planning to work on.
Basically I've got tones of DVD's at home, around 400 movies. So I was thinking of setting up a Server where I'd have 50% of these movies saved on to several hard disks, then be able to stream any movie from around 5-6 locations at home.
The question:
1) What sort of system would I be looking at for the Server?
2) What 'workstation' system should I get to receive the video stream and be able to output to a regular TV.
3) And what's the more appropriate video card for this?
Hope I can get anyones adive on this.
