to capture the video stream from the vlc source code for pro

Hi all,

Please could someone help me how to capturing the video stream from the vlc source code. I am using vlc -0.9.9a . In my application for processing the video signals i have to capture/trap the signals or save it in a file/buffer to process it later. Can any one help me . Any help will be appreciated.

hi,

Sorry for less clarity in my question.I will tell my needs..
I want to pull out the video stream from from an IP camera. For that I am using VLC , Can you help me how I can trap the video stream which is going to VRAM after decoding, so that i can view the video normally as well as I can dump the video stream into a file so that I can process it later. Please help me
