RTSP REDIRECT

Hi,

does VLC support the RTSP REDIRECT Function?

if not how can i tell a client to connect to another server if the the current server hasn´t got the ordered file!

I try the implement a proxy which should use such a function.

The REDIRECT command is sent to the client at an arbitrary time from the server while the stream is playing.
You might want to check the RTSP options 301 302. They worked for me.

Hi, I am also facing the same problem.
I dont know if VLC player supports RTSP redirect.
