Assign Hotkey to 'Loop from point A to point B' button?

Postby Enxzius » 04 Mar 2012 13:06

VLC is my favorite movie player because it can almost do almost anything, except for one thing in hotkeys preferences I didnt see any way to assign a hotkey to the "Loop pt A to pt B" button feature.

This button has to be manually dragged to the controller by draging it under Tools > Customize interface' window. It does't appear in the Hotkeys Preferences though.

Is there anyway to assign this feature to a keyboard key via editing or scripting?

Sorry, I don't know how you can assign a hotkey to Loop A to B but:

I can't get it to work properly anyway, whether on Linux or Windows.

I click once to set A and then again to set B, according to the mouse-over prompts, but when I click to set B it starts to play just a very short loop, not the length I set.
