I personally use VLC player and Stagsi altogether on a daily basis to organize my videos and tag segments in a long videos. It's great for labeling various parts of a video tutorial. I hope you'll find this addon helpful for your own vlc projects!

P.S. It would be nice if contributors could create a better hotkey than 'pausing' the video for creating the M3U bookmarks. Pausing is a bit annoying given I need to pause the video for other purpose than creating m3u files, but for the time being it's definitely a nice addon.

I have created another video tutorial related to Stagsi, which can be used with the above addon for VLAN. It's extremely handy to structure your long videos into chapters and add tags to each sequence to better find clips later.

Just wondering, it's been nearly one year since I made the initial post, any of you tried this addon and especially the Stagsi software for organizing your video collections?
