This skin is based on the VLC interface as it appears on Mac OS X Leopard. So the copyright to the source images lie with Apple and the VideoLAN team. Hope you enjoy this skin.

great skin, thanks a lot !
How do you access the "preferences" ? (none of the keyboard shortcuts work)

Oh I see that's a problem :) I'd need to add a button.
Maybe the developers also should add the option to open the preferences to the context menu.

looking forward then :)
Still, I don't understand why keyboard shortcut dont work anymore as soon as you use skins (they dont work either in minimal mode btw, using default skin)

Hi,

there are some problems with this skin in ubuntu 8.10. i do not only miss the preferences, there is another problem. i cant load any other skins or the basic "skin". VLC does only run with Crossover Leopard, after it was installed.

Any idea getting the standard theme back?

regards

Normally you would only need to rightclick on the skin and choose "interface>choose skin>Default" to load the default skin.

edit the config file with any text file, and change "skins2" to empty (at least on windows, it works))

Because VLC changed its video system in skins in such a way that it is not displayed when there is no video window in the skin. So I'd need to update my skin and add a video window. Than it'll work again. Might do that some time soon.

I wouldn't suggest to you downgrading to an earlier version of VLC, because there were quite some issues in the skins module in versions past.

The next version of VLC will again provide a native video window for skins that do not provide a skinned video window. When that version will be released, who knows?
