This skin was created to promote the development of VLC skins, and the use of the open source Inkscape tool as a graphic design tool for skins, among other uses.

License

Blended was created using Inkscape. I don't have time to do many updates, especially the big ones like adding an equalizer. So feel free to add whatever you want and post it here to be updated. Alternatively you could create your own skin, using mine as a base. Just be sure to keep it under the Creative Commons license mentioned above.

Note
I almost have an new version ready, which I hope to have released over this weekend. The main improvement is the new larger mode. In this version you can toggle modes by clicking on the little up arrow next to the close button.

List of things to do
+ Spacing on the sides of the small mode.
+ Orange and green colored versions
+ Add an Equilizer/playlist.
+ Skinned video output window with DVD mode buttons and fullscreen toggle. (skinned video output currently limited by VLC skin functionality.)
+ Make the info/pref/equil/pl buttons easier to click.
+ Curved window frames. (Currently limited by VLC skin functionality.)

Were you able to develop a larger version of it?

Yes.
You can download it here. I'm submitting an update to the Skins website. (Although, I can never remember what email address I use to submit the original work/updates, so I hope it doesn't not approve because the email address provided is different from before.)

It defaults to the smaller size. Push the little "carrot" or arrow next to the close and minimize buttons to toggle modes.
