Changing caching value

Since the update to 2.0 my preferences were not transfered.
Before the update you could change this setting under Input / Codecs -> Access modules -> File
Now I can't change it anymore and my HD videos started lagging again.
So: please tell me how to change the caching value in VLC 2.0.1
