VLC media player playing songs out of order

I'm currently trying to play a CD I've ripped using WMP 11 and had to re-title (the CD is a soundtrack from Japan). I labeled them pretty extensively, but when I try to play the CD via the Playlist option, the VLC media player will play in this order:
Track 1
Track 10
Track 11
Track 12
.
.
Track 20
Track 21
etc.
Any ideas on how to correct this?

VLC sorts in word collation order. Nobody has yet provided a VLC patch that would sort respecting both collation rules and natural numbers order.
It is anyway best to use a playlist file if you want to play tracks in a particular order.

I'm using a playlist, but it plays my playlist out of order for some reason. It tries to alphabetize it or some such crap by name, when I most definitely do not want it to.
At least if I actually open the play list. Guess I'll just have to sort through it without opening it. :p

Works fine here. Make sure you have not selected a sorting mode in the UI columns.
