Hotkeys when VLC isn't selected

Hi, My keyboard has some media buttons on it, I have assigned the pause/play, next and previous buttons to their respective functions and they work when the VLC window is selected, but I want to be able to able to skip through and pause my music while I'm running a fullscreen application for example.
The keyboard is a "Logitech Media Keyboard 600".

Thanks,
-Tremayne

Same problem here.
In the previous VLC player it worked when you put

"[Players]
VLC=key,vlc.exe,QWidget,VLC media player,xxx, , ,S,P,N,0,1,VLC "
(I also tried "VLC=key,vlc.exe,QWidget,VLC media player 2.0.1,xxx, , ,S,P,N,0,1,VLC")

in the players.ini file in C:\Program Files\Logitech\SetPointP. However this doesn't work anymore.
I googled for hours on this and found nothing.
Setting the media-hotkeys of the keyboard directly in the VLC hotkey configuration for global hotkeys doesn't work either.
I hope someone has a solution. Maybe just some of the definitions has to be changed in the players.ini file.

Greetings.

I want to be able to play/pause/skip tracks while I'm using he browser without opening the VLC Window, just like Windows Media Player.
