vlc hang or fast scan

Windows and linux versions of vlc has problems in playing recorded by mythtv from dvb-t broadcast from a certain mux (mux b). Linux version of vlc shows just the first frame and then hangs. Windows version behaviour is bit different, it fast scans the file. Files recorded from other mux:s are played just fine by vlc. Problematic files are played just fine with other players like xbmc (both windows and linux), mplayer or totem. Here is a example file with problems:

linux version is 1.1.13. mub b files used to play fine earlier with vlc, so I suspect there has been some change in that mux causing problems for vlc.

VLC is my favourite player, so any help is appreciated.
