Using VLC 1.1.11 with Windows 7, player has developed weird problem. Suddenly will not play .wmv files, plays just sound but no video!

All other formats, avi, mpg,flv, etc play no problem at all, just wmv wont work. Tried different settings and even reinstalled VLC, but problem persists!
any advice be welcome!

I have the exact same problem. Are you saying you didn't have that problem with a previous version of VLC?
