Hi guys, first post here.
One of the things I used to do with VLC was to drag a heap of images and videos into the playlist to make a slideshow of movies and pictures; the pictures would stay for about 5-10 seconds then skip to the next pic/vid. Recently I formatted my HDD from Ubuntu 11.04 to 11.10 and re-installed VLC but now, it shows the images for a fraction of a second and skips to the next thing. Sometimes I just get an error like
I've tried changing the MJPEG FPS to 0.1 and it works fine except that I can no longer play, pause or skip images. Can anyone help?

and it doesn't show anything.Your video output acceleration driver does not support the required resolution: 533x800 pixels. The maximum supported resolution is 534x800.
Video output acceleration will be disabled. However, rendering videos with overly large resolution may cause severe performance degration.
