VLC 1.1.13 not available

Hi,

On http://www.videolan.org/ home page we can download VLC 1.1.11 but this version is vulnerable (see http://www.videolan.org/security/sa1108.html and http://www.videolan.org/security/sa1107.html).

I had a look on the Source Forge project (http://sourceforge.net/projects/vlc/files/) and I didn't find VLC 1.1.13.

Is this normal?

Thanks but it's not user friendly.

Just for your information, there is no notification in VLC (1.1.11) about a new version.

Which is normal, since there is no full build of it...

Jean-Baptiste,

I would be happy if the 1.1.12 version was available to address the vulnerability in http://www.videolan.org/security/sa1107.html. I do not understand why the disconnect with the availability of the most recent versions of VLC Player on different platform, but it would seem that the largest base of VLC user is being ignored. When should we be expecting the new version for Windows?

Thanks,

Francois

The releases are disconnected because different people are responsible for the source version and the different platforms. Nobody is responsible for 1.1.x Windows anymore.
