Http to Rtsp

Hello there,
I listen to online radio from shoutcast. I get the link and play it from vlc player.
My phone doesn't support playing http streaming. But it does support rtsp streaming.
Is it possible to convert the http link to a rtsp link?
I found on a forum that its able to do with help of vlc player. So asking for some help.
