The VideoLAN Forums

I have the same glitch as others have: YouTube videos don't seem to work. But, when I went to patch the system with the codes (or whatever it does.) my computer told me that I was not authorized to edit the file, or some such rot.

Any ideas on how to bypass this annoying little glitch?
