DVD Rip Option Gone?

I remember several years ago that one of the beta version of VLC had an option to rip a DVD starting from one time interval to a later one. For instance, I could tell it to start ripping at 01:41 and stop at 22:13 and then just walk away and let the ripping begin.

What has happened to this option? I ask because I am currently trying to rip a DVD that has split cartoon episodes into different titles. The episode's first half will begin on title 7, but the second half will begin on title 13. When I tell VLC to rip title 7 I only get half of the episode, so I'd be better off just having it to begin at a certain time and then end at a certain time. That way I won't be missing half the episode.

There has not been any change there. You can rip the DVD with the conversion wizard. But there are better suited tools than VLC for this.

VLC is the best ripper I've used so far. Is there any way to get VLC to rip two DVD titles, one after the other?

You can. But I would advise handbrake.
