Saving audio from my own DVD-audio disks

Postby eugenekroll » 06 Oct 2011 20:39

Hi,

VLC plays DVD-Audio disks from the high bitrate AUDIO_TS directory, which is great. Since it is my disk, I would like to save it on my laptop. Whatever permutations I do in VLC:Advanced open file: Streaming/Saving-Settings: Encapsulation method (Quicktime/Ogg/Raw) and Audio (mpga/vorb/flac) I get an output file saved on the drive, but upon playing there is only hiss.

Please help.

Eugene
