Have to prebuffer videos that played fine before?

I recorded some videos using FRAPS a few weeks ago. When I recorded them they played fine with no issues. But now when I went back to play them again, they have to prebuffer every few seconds.

Why is this happening when they worked fine before? How can I fix it? I have the latest versions of FRAPS and VLC.
