Mozzila crash when play video in VLC using mozilla in Suse 9

I am using Suse 9.0 and mozilla.I have successfully compile,make and make install vlc according to the documention. Below is my steps to install vlc:

1) download,compile,make and make install the following library
* ffmpeg-0.4.8
* libcdio-0.70
* libdvdnav-0.1.10
* libogg-1.1
* vlc-0.8.1
* a52dec-0.7.4
* libdvbpsi-20041028
* libdvdread-20041028
* libvorbis-1.0.1
* faad2-20040923
* libcddb-0.9.6
* libdvdcss-1.2.8
* libmad-0.15.1b
* mpeg2dec-0.4.0

2) compile,make and make install vlc.
however, when i configure the vlc, it is said that 2 files is missing,ie
nslsupports.idl and nsrootidl.idl.
so, i copy the 2 files from my local mozilla folder to the vlc mozilla
folder. After that, i successfully configure the vlc withour error. The
process of make and make install successfully run without error.

3) copy the mozilla plugin file to local mozilla folder
in order to have my mozilla to be able to run the vlc, i copy 2 files into
the local mozilla folder,ie vclintf.xpt and libvlcplugin.so which is created
after i make install vlc.

Finally, installation of vlc is done. However, the problem occurs when i trying to play the video in mozilla. The mozilla close when i click on the play button. Is this problem cause by the vlc or the mozilla ? I have been googling for solution but can't find any. Any help is much more appreciated. Thankz in advance.

the problem has been solved. I install the vlc in another machine and it can run perfectly. So, could be the pc problem and the installation steps is just right. Thankz.
