Plugin For Guitar Rig?

Anyone heard of a plugin for Guitar Rig? So's Guitar Rig can be played through VLC and the complete sound manufactured by Guitar Rig heard and (this is the point) saved?

I think there might be a misunderstanding.

I posted to a Guitar Rig board regarding recording the sounds one produces in Guitar Rig. Because GR itself records only the 'pure' sound of the guitar.

And I mentioned VLC as a player that one might use to play the recorded sound.

The only response I got was someone saying that a VLC plugin was required.

It might not even exist. I don't know. I'm looking for it or some other way of recording Guitar Rig sounds.

Nobody is ever going to write a plug-in if there is no interface specification.

So looks like this guy who posted I need to install the plug in was just assuming there'd be one...

And there isn't?

You guys would know, I guess.. this being the VLC forums and all.

Write plugins? That'd be a big job wouldn't it?

There is no official VLC plugins for this, at least.
