Skipping Credits

Hi,
Is there a way I could set vlc to proceed to the next track a certain number of seconds early. I would like to have the credits section of a video skipped when multiple files of the same show are queued. I am not looking to set a standard end time but a "end x seconds early" type option. Any ideas? Thanks.
