UDP multicast, packet loss & ts discontinuity

My ISP made some change to their IPTV (UDP multicast/h264) around January and it's no longer compatible with VLC 0.8.6. VLC 0.8.6 happened to be the version I was using when IPTV last worked. At the moment IPTV streams pixellate afer every several seconds while a slight pause in the audio occurs less often.

I get the same problem whether it's Windows or Linux.

I'm trying to figure out if it's a hardware, software, phone line, or ISP problem.

VLC 0.8.6 is not supported anymore and RTP is handled in a completely different way nowadays. We cannot help you with that old version.
