How to force a crop aspect?

Hi, I'd like to automatically force a crop aspect of 16:10 on all 4:3 and 16:9 aspect videos. I watch mostly 4:3 on a 16:10 monitor and it's a real pain in the keester having to choose "preferences-> video -> crop-> 16:10" for most every video I play. I found this older post viewtopic.php?f=2&t=43122&p=135200&hili ... ng#p135200, which would have been better than nothing, but I do not have these settings in my preferences.

Any ideas?
