Jump to file number ## on playlist.

I would like to know if VLC can jump to a specific file on the playlist.

For example: I load a playlist with 120 files. How can I jump to file number 1, file number 23, file number 90, etc.?

I don't want to use the mouse and I would prefer to do it while the video is fullscreen.

So, I wonder if it's possible to setup some key shortcut for jumping to file on playlist?

Anything similar that doesn't use the mouse would also do.

I am grateful for any suggestions.

The command line interface can do that with 'goto <NUMBER>'.

Thankyou! :)

It's not exactly what I was looking for, but it's a start... I could work with this. ;)

Any other suggestions are welcome, but for now I'll use the goto commandline. :)

Hi, I found this topic by searching the forum. I had a similar question.

I'm using a playlist to watch DVB-T channels, thus having about 30 different channels/frequencies listed in the playlist. But if I want to change channel, each time I have to open the playlist, click on the channel I want and close it again. Therefore I was wondering if there is a way or a specific keyword to add a shortcut key for each individual channel in the playlist? Ideally I would numer them of course, so for instance 1, or CTRL+1, would be for channel 1, etcetera.

I've searched for it, but so far the option doesn't seem to exist. So if I overlooked something, feel free to let me know.

Thanks
